Venom Hunters: Discovery Channel

Venom Hunters is a new series currently in production for Discovery Channel, and follows two animal enthusiasts as they search the globe for the world's most venomous creatures. This search brought the production crew to Perth Australia in late July to find the deadly Tiger Snake, where they hired BIOTHORN PTY LTD to provide on location technical assistance, animal handling, as well as establish correct licensing protocol. The project was a success and the final production is hoped to be available in early 2016.


Autumn 2015

Tale of the Tapir

The latest of the "Adam Thorn Presents" series, produced by BIOTHORN entertainment, is completed and ready for purchase. This project took BIOTHORN PTY LTD deep into the oldest jungle on the planet in search of the fascinating, yet illusive, Malayan Tapir.  A vast array of beautiful wildlife is encountered along the way in what is considered to be one the best documentaries starring the Tapir ever recorded.  


Summer 2015

Banksia Grove Development

As part of a clearing project conducted by Wormall Pty Ltd for Banksia Grove, North-East Precinct, BIOTHORN PTY LTD conducted a fauna relocation program consisting of trapping and opportunistic relocation. Amongst the many species successfully relocated, we were fortunate enough to find a South Western Brown Bandicoot. A considerably rare specimen for the project area. All fauna was relocated to a designated safe zone located in the nearby vicinity.


Spring 2014

Alkimos Beach Development

Partnered with Georgiou Group and Lend Lease Development, BIOTHORN PTY LTD has been providing ongoing fauna relocation projects for the various stages of clearing being performed as part of the Alkimos Beach Development. To date, over a thousand animals have been successfully relocated, including a rather lucky echidna found in the direct path of clearing. Combined with trapping and opportunistic relocation programs, BIOTHORN PTY LTD has additionally been working alongside heavy machinery crew to save fauna from the immediate path of clearing, providing the best possible fauna relocation service for this ongoing project.
